Dangerous Words

If no one listens
it doesn't matter
I'm gay, you say
I'm pregnant,
you speak to their
backs disappearing
down the road,
I got fired today,
they don't care
you need to scream
I'm here, listen
but they run away
each in his own
reality, your words
mean nothing
less than threatening
though blood drips
your throat is raw
you want to grasp
thorns and their
hands, pull them
into you
let them stroke
your face
your words soft
I'm not coming home,
I don't love
you anymore,

they don't turn around
not dangerous enough
maybe you will write
them instead.
