Memories of The Greyhound Pub

August moon was dancing
to the rhythmic voice of that
blonde singing Shakira's
"Underneath your Clothes"
in The Greyhound Pub.
Fossils of that scene
came to life again
on an asphyxiated night
when little worms
were injecting life
into the rotten fruits
of my memory,
while raindrops
swept over
dusty cans
of beer.
