EMILY AS RAIN FALLING INTO A LAKE

Feet in the water, it feels
in the water, like the traveler,
the falling water, joined us

without dangerous language,
to be part of our water, to wait
for the lightning, as I have,

to be ecstatic again, I wait
in the water of Emily for more
Emily to be energized, wet.
