fat

I'm getting fat
sitting behind the wheel
of this taxi cab.
It's a job hazard
like compression of the spine,
prostate irritation,
kidney infection,
constipation,
or having your
throat cut.

sick

My gut pours
into the world.

In the crease
where it bends,

on the border
where it crashes together,

I will never
be wise.
