EDITOR'S NOTES
Welcome to Issue #5 of Gutter Eloquence Magazine! Muchas
gracias to all of the contributors and readers, without whom
this zine wouldn't exist...and wouldn't have a reason to.
Considering that the main theme of this issue is 'sex,' I was
amazed by the small number of crude & nasty poems among
the submissions. But regardless, I'm extremely satisfied with
the quality of the writing that y'all sent in. Bravo!
As usual, I welcome your feedback, whether it's kudos or
complaints. Your comments may either be sent via email *
or posted on the
message board (go ahead and sign up,
if you haven't already).
Submissions for G.E.M. #6 will be accepted from Sept 5th
through Oct 10th. It'll be a non-themed issue, so whatever
poems you have--if you think they'll go with the "feel" of the
zine--send 'em in!
NOTE: read the submission guidelines before submitting
anything, even if you're a previous contributor. Failure to
follow the guidelines will only piss off the editor--who'd
much rather publish you than not.
